BioThe username ixat_totep comes from the comic book "The Invisibles", written by Grant Morrison. In it, the protagonist is told by his mentor that cities have a secret language- the reflection of a sign in a window may spell out a powerful word. "ixat" ("taxi" spelled backwards) is given as an example. Later on, the protagonist sees the title graphic for "Top Of ThE Pops" (with that capitalization) on a television screen. He takes the capital letters to make "totep" and uses it to knock everyone out. So, "ixat_totep".
Go read "The Invisibles". It is my favorite creative work in any medium, and makes sense to me like nothing else in the world.
I could ramble on more about myself, but there's not much more that's really of interest. I like comic books. I'm 30 years old as of early 2006, and I'm queer (exactly what sort of "queer" is subject to change without notice- I'm pretty much always interested in my own gender, and sometimes also in the opposite one). You can figure out what comics I like by looking at my journal entries. And occasionally I comment on other things. There's more to life than that, but those are the things I mostly put in this journal :-)
